Pennsylvania East HOBY
Trip to New York

Albert Schweitzer Leadership Awards Dinner
Gotham Hall
November 11 - 13, 2007

The PA East HOBY Alumni Chapter is happy to invite area HOBY alumni to travel to New York City to join in the celebration at the Albert Schweitzer Leadership Awards Dinner.

As many are aware, Albert Schweitzer is the philanthropist who inspired Hugh O'Brian to start HOBY. Each year, to honor Schweitzer recognizes leaders and HOBY alumni in a variety of fields at this event. Some recipients of awards include Katie Couric, Colin Powell, and Ted Turner. For a complete list of award recipients, click here.

For the schedule, please see the itinerary below.  However, we would not travel to NYC and not tour around! Other things that are planned include the Statue of Liberty, The Today Show, TRL (if it's recording that day), Lunch at the Hard Rock Cafe and a lot more touring of NYC!

The trip will cost $300 and will be chaperoned by adults. The cost includes:

  • Transportation
  • Hotel Room Accommodations at the Comfort Inn
  • Ticket to Schweitzer Event
  • Meals from Dinner Sunday to Breakfast Tuesday
  • Entertainment

To register for this trip, please send your check and the forms listed below by September 1, 2007. An initial deposit of $100 may be mailed on September 1.  The remainder of $200 must be mailed by October 1.  The mailing address and other relevant information can be found on the registration form.  If you have any questions, please let me know.

All my best and HOBY hugs!
Justin
